Jit Kaur Founder and President
In 2002 Jit Kaur spearheaded NZ Sikh Women Association (Inc.) with other members of the community, as there was a need of providing support to women, children and families who are experiencing family violence within the community.
As this was my long term goal and passion to do something for my community to carry on as I have an inbuilt desire to help people and also looking forward to new challenges and feeling proud of my accomplishments.
I am currently working with Idea Services and also running NZSWA. I would like to thank all my friends who have support me and my family. Since we arrive in New Zealand and making us feel comfortable and welcome to be part of New Zealand society.
